Restaurant Leader – Cash – Part time AF2015-0012
Role and Responsibilities
Under the supervision of the Restaurant Manager, the Restaurant Supervisor ensures the smooth operation of the restaurant. He/She must provide support to the Restaurant employees with regards to the daily operations and also support the Manager in putting in delivering Exceptional Customer Service. As well, the Restaurant Supervisor must lead and support the rules and policies for Health & Safety, Sanitation, Quality, and maintain a good working environment.
Main Tasks
- Ensure the consistent delivery of Exceptional Customer Service including but not limited to; welcoming customers, answering questions and assisting customers as needed, handling complaints, and granting returns and refunds.
- Taking customer orders and assembling the orders with speed, efficiency, and care.
- Accepting payment and being responsible for managing all Restaurant cash registers and monies.
- Ability to lead and follow recipes as requested and using all equipment appropriately and safely.
- Acting as a leader and developing staff autonomy.
- Support the Restaurant Management Team by supervising Restaurant employees, and by guiding them with their work and their Customer Service habits.
- Respect and enforce rules that are established for Health and Safety, Hygiene, Sanitation and Food handling.
- Promoting the learning and development for all “Front of the House Staff”.
- Assisting in the Marketing of our Products and Inventory Management, placing orders (mainly for the Ice Cream/Gelato Counter), receiving and shipping orders, filling counters, rotating stock, entering invoices, inventory counts, while upholding all specific processes and procedures that are in place.
- Processing Sales and all related paperwork, the Opening and Closing the Restaurant, the Management of the Cash Registers as necessary, balancing all Sales Transactions Daily,
- Performing any other Miscellaneous Management duties.
Qualifications and Experiences
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum one year experience in a similar position and/or a position in Customer Service.
- Good knowledge of the cheese sector and the food industry.
- Available to work during the Restaurant’s Hours of Operation, including Days, Nights, and Weekends
