Inventory Coordinator – RF0031

Role and Responsibilities

Reporting to the Director of Logistics, the Inventory Coordinator role is to  plan, organize, direct, manage,  And improve our practice toward  inventory management and control, warehousing, shipping and receiving and planning. He is also responsible to propose and implement all activities to increase customer satisfaction and optimize inventory management and storage activities. While ensuring to maintain a clean, healthy and safe work place.

Main Tasks

  • To control and maintain an rigorously inventory of all our different products, according to an ABC classification
  • Based on historical and anticipated sales, responsible to Forecast future consumer products to be produce for the Cheese Factory. Provide recommendations on products and production quantities to avoid stock-outs;
  • Estimate future consumption of purchased goods for our suppliers based on historical and anticipated sales :
  • Supervise and manage on a day to day basis Warehouse, shipping and receiving team, among others, do to the work schedules, to ensure good customer service for various departments;
  • To order finish goods, material and product from our supplier, based on anticipated sales- while taking into account lead times for the replenishment
  • Maintain an appropriate levels of inventories according to MIN and MAX system and safety stock
  • Rigorously manage all stock movement in the warehouse (receiving, shipping and stock movements)
  • Perform inventory counts, to ensure that the count is well done, review inventory reports – create them if necessary, in case of non-conformity conduct analyzes (quantity, type, value of materials, equipment and articles in hand);
  • Monitor stock movements and inventory levels using manual or computerized inventory systems.
  • Communicate with the directors and staff form other department to coordinate any inventory management activities;
  • In collaboration with the Director of Logistics, develop, communicate and implement policies and inventory management procedures;
  • Support any management directives and achieve objectives on the floor
  • Other related tasks requested by the Director of Logistic

Qualifications and Experiences

  • Minimum of three (3) ten years experience in a similar position
  • Completion of a college program in business administration, transportation administration, or engineering, or an equivalent combination of training and supply chain experience.
  • Minimum of two (2) year in supervision
  • Posses an professional designation in supply chain management (an asset)
  • Specialization in the management of the supply chain (an asset)
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel and abilities with IT
  • Comfortable to work in a growing environment
