Account Manager – Greater Montreal – Full Time – 2026-0003
Reporting to the Business Development Director, the Account Manager is responsible for building and nurturing strong relationships with distributor clients, food service partners, and regional retail chains. This role ensures exceptional customer satisfaction, drives product distribution efficiency, and supports revenue growth and customer retention.
YOUR CHALLENGES:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients.
- Negotiate contracts and ensure compliance.
- Identify opportunities to increase sales and profitability.
- Forecast and conduct business reviews with clients.
- Communicate and coordinate strategic account activities.
- Research new products and manage product conversions.
- Respond to clients’ specific requests and needs.
- Provide regular follow-up to strengthen satisfaction and loyalty.
- Implement promotional actions.
- Participate in various industry or client trade shows.
- Train or inform clients about new products or services.
- Monitor performance indicators (sales, inventory turnover, customer satisfaction).
- Prepare regular reports for the Senior Sales Director.
- Recommend corrective or improvement actions.
- Monitor regional market trends and identify new opportunities.
- Participate in prospecting for new clients.
- Collaborate with the logistics team.
- Perform any other related tasks.
WHAT YOU HAVE:
- A degree in management, business, or the food sector.
- Previous experience in account management or client relations within the food industry or distribution.
- Autonomy, dynamism, and a strong sense of service.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Knowledge of the food sector, including food services, distributors, boutiques, and regional chains.
- Organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to analyze data and propose solutions.
- Proficiency with computer tools (CRM, Excel, etc.)

Salary: starting at $65,000/commensurate with experience
