YOUR CHALLENGES :

  • Ensure daily management of the operational activities of the production plant;
  • Manage and coordinate daily activities related to cheese production process;
  • Work in collaboration with the Master Cheese Make to analyze the milk and input during production and make the necessary adjustments: ph, texture, etc .;
  • Coordinate the planning of manpower and work schedules;
  • Work as a team with production employees and other departments to achieve production objectives;
  • Manage and mobilize the employees of his team and ensure that the work is done at all times in a safe manner;
  • Ensure that the cheese produced is of superior quality and meets all the quality and safety standards in force;
  • Respect and implement policies and laws related to occupational health and safety as well as participate in health and safety awareness objectives with employees and suppliers;
  • Participate in the recruitment process for new employees including the on boarding and training;
  • Participate in continuous improvement in our working methods and our manufacturing processes;
  • All other related tasks requested by the Production Manager.

WHAT YOU HAVE :

  • University degree in industrial engineering, automated production engineering, food engineering, or any combination of relevant experience and training;
  • College diploma in food processing with a specialization in dairy manufacturing (asset);
  • Have 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar position (manufacturing environment);
  • Have positive leadership and an ability to influence;
  • Collaborative competence and ability to adapt to changes;
  • Bilingual (asset).

Status: Full Time

Work Schedule: Evening with weekends rotation.
