Machine Operator (Hayssen) – Full-time – AF2016-0007
Role and Responsibilities :
Under the supervision of the Production’s Supervisors, the Curd Room Operator is responsible for operating the cheese bagging machine (Hayssen) for the various formats. He coordinates the packaging process while respecting all health and safety, food safety, quality and production rules and regulations in place.
Main Tasks :
- Operate the cheese bagging machine for all different formats
- Coordinate the entire process of processing and packaging according to the production plan established
- Wash, sanitize and perform equipment maintenance
- Complete all production and packaging reports
- Perform format changeovers and basic equipment maintenance
- Perform all tasks and activities in a safe manner and in accordance with the quality standards in force (HACCP)
- Follow company policies and procedures for St-Albert Cheese
- Perform all other related duties
Qualifications and Work schedule :
- Grade 12 diploma or equivalent or equivalent internal or external experience
- Be able to lift weights that may exceed 20 Kg
- Be able to handle chemicals
- Available to work on different work shift
- Work schedule mainly night time, start time between 6pm and 2am. Schedule can change to accommodate production needs
- Pay rate according to company policies
