Cleaning and Sanitation Attendant – Production areas- Full Time – 2021-0042
DESCRIPTION:
The Janitor is responsible for cleaning and maintaining order inside the plant and common areas of the Fromagerie ( mainly in the production areas and others areas as required). The person in this workstation maintains order and cleanliness as well as the sanitation of the production areas and designated areas based on the Total Quality, health and safety, hygiene and sanitation requirements at Fromagerie.
YOUR ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITY:
- Sweeping, wiping and washing floors
- Vacuum, wax and polish floors and furniture
- Dust paintings, windows, lighting fixtures, diffusers and walls as needed
- Clean washrooms
- Clean sinks, garbage cans, cabinets, doors, etc..based to the established schedules and frequencies
- Ensure the cleanliness of common areas inside the Fromagerie such as the rest room, changing rooms, toilets, corridors, etc.
- Follow up on sanitation product inventories and replace sanitation supplies and products in collaboration with the person in charge
- Complete cleaning reports according to established requirements
- Be versatile at various workstations to ensure hygiene and sanitation in the production area;
- Perform all the required tasks and actions safely and in accordance with the Total Quality and Health and Safety, Hygiene and Saniation programs and standards in place
- Perform other related duties as required.
WHAT YOU HAVE:
- Completion of High School diploma or an equivalent combination of training and work experience
- Experience in a similar position
- Demonstrate superior sense of health and safety compliance at work as well as the sanitation practices in place
- Physical aptitude: To be able to lift weights that can exceed 20 kg; being in continuous motion during your complete shiftwork
- Knowledge and be able to handle chemicals
- Training in handling chemicals (asset)
- Is thorough and pays attention to detail
- Has a sense of responsibility and autonomy
- Is versatile, flexible and reliable.
Status: Full Time
Work Schedule: Day or Evening – 5 days a week, week end rotation
