Dishwasher- Part-time and students – AF2016-0005

Role and Responsibilities

Under the supervision of the Restaurant Manager, the Busboy is responsible for washing dishes and cleaning the kitchen and the dining room. He must support the Manager delivering an exceptional customer service experience. This to be completed while respecting the rules for health and safety, sanitation, quality and maintaining a good work environment.

Main Tasks

  • Deliver an exceptional customer service experience; welcoming customers, answer questions and assist customers as needed, handle complaints
  • Wash dishes
  •  Clean tables and filling straws, napkins and condiments dispenser at the self-service counter
  • Keep the kitchen clean
  • Assemble all orders according to customer expectations
  • Able to follow recipes as requested and use equipment appropriately and safely
  • Maintain the workplace and equipment cleanliness, take out garbage and clean the floors
  • Ensure the cleanliness of the dining room and washrooms at all times
  • Respect and enforce rules: established for health and safety, hygiene, sanitation and food handling, at all times
  • Able to work well within a team
  • Assist the cashier, when needed
  • Perform all other related duties

Qualifications and Experiences

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (asset)
  • Work schedule as required by the restaurant (day, evening and weekend)
