Reporting to the Store Manager, the Restaurant / Store Supervisor ensures the smooth operation of the store and restaurant. He/she must support the store and restaurant employees in their daily management and support his/her boss in the implementation of exceptional customer service. While respecting the rules of health and safety at work, sanitation, quality and maintaining a good working environment.

• Ensure the implementation of exceptional customer service; greeting customers, courtesy, answering questions and assisting customers as needed, managing complaints, handling returns and refunds.
• Act as a leader and develop staff autonomy.
• Manage the daily operations of the restaurant and store.
• Support the Store Manager in the supervision of store and restaurant employees, providing guidance to employees with respect to their duties and customer service.
• Manage the front and back of the store and restaurant teams and ensure that there is a good synergy and productivity for both groups.
• Respect and ensure compliance with respect to OHS, hygiene, sanitation, and food handling regulations.
• Promote employee learning and development as it relates to cheeses and other products.
• Assist with the preparation, cooking, and serving of guests for the front and back of the house as needed. Not afraid to “get your hands dirty”.
• Replace cashiers during breaks, high traffic periods and when required by the manager.
• Assist in the marketing of our products and in the management of inventories; place orders, receive and ship orders, fill shelves, rotate stock, enter invoices, count inventory and this according to the specific process at each stage.
• Process sales: open and close the store and cash registers, keep a low level of cash in circulation, replenish change in the registers as needed, balance cash register transactions at the end of each day, keep all receipts and slips, record daily sales, prepare deposits daily, keep the safe closed and locked at all times, and this according to the specific process at each step.
• Provide support to the store manager to ensure communication and consistency between the restaurant and store teams.
• Perform all other related tasks.

Qualifications and skills required:
Experience and Training
• Completion of High School diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of one year experience in a similar position and/or in customer service positions
• Knowledge of the cheese and agrifood industry is an asset.

• Autonomous: Demonstrates autonomy in the accomplishment of assigned responsibilities
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office
• Bilingual: French and English, spoken and written

Status: Permanent, Full Time
Work Schedule: Day, evening shifts, weekends
