Private: Project Manager – Full Time – St-Albert, ON – 2024-0010

Reporting to the Director General of St-Albert Cheese, the Project Manager is responsible for identifying projects’ goals, objectives, and its scope to create a comprehensive project plan that outlines the tasks, timelines, and resources required for its timely completion. The Project Manager is expected to communicate with the project team and key stakeholders, manage risk, and monitor progress to ensure the project stays on track. We are looking for an individual with strong experience to manage a variety of important projects for St-Albert Cheese.

YOUR CHALLENGES 

  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, as well as within the scope and budget provided.
  • Develop a detailed and comprehensive project plan to track progress.
  • Assure projects meet requirements and expectations using appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule, and cost control.
  • Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques.
  • Report and escalate to management as needed.
  • Manage client and stakeholder relationships at all stages of project development.
  • Perform risk management to minimizeproject risks throughout the duration of the project.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors, ensuring clear communication, collaboration, and longevity.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation to assure successful completion of projects.
  • Manage and coordinate with suppliers and partners, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with quality, food safety, sustainability, and regulations.
  • Conduct regular project status meetings and progress reports to stakeholders including management and others.

WHAT YOU HAVE

  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in project management and/or business administration, preferably in the manufacturing or food processing sectors. A PMP Certification is preferred and is considered an asset.
  • Strong knowledge of food processing, packaging, and quality systems is considered an asset.
  • Strong collaborative mindset with concise communication to ensure a collaborative environment that promotes cooperation and collective contribution.
  • Excellent project management, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving approach.
  • Experience with project management tools and software.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Ability to respect established project deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and French 

Status: Permanent, Full Time

Schedule: Days, must be able to work evenings and weekends as needed
