Milk Receiver Clerk – Full Time – St-Albert, ON – 2024-0026
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Under the supervision of the Production’s Supervisors, the Milk Receiver Clerk is responsible for receiving the milk and shipping of the cream according to established standards. He monitors the quality of milk received while respecting all health and safety, food safety, quality and production rules and regulations in place.
YOUR CHALLENGES:
- Perform basic tests on milk before unloading;
- Prepare and clean the equipment before unloading milk and conduct unloading to proper tank;
- Complete reports and enter data in computer systems ;
- Transfer, pasteurizing, analyze the milk into the VAT and ship the cream and inputs;
- Manages milk and cream inventory;
- Wash, sanitize and perform equipment maintenance and wash the truck tank;
- Perform all tasks and activities in a safe manner and in accordance with the quality standards in force (HACCP);
- Follow company policies and procedures for St-Albert Cheese;
- Perform all other related duties.
WHAT YOU HAVE:
- Grade 12 diploma or equivalent;
- Plant Milk and Cream Grader certification;
- ITA certification (asset);
- Training in cheese making (asset);
- Be able to lift weights that may exceed 20 Kg;
- Knowledge and be able to handle chemicals;
- Is thorough and pays attention to detail;
- Has a sense of responsibility and autonomy;
- Has and demonstrate computer skills;
- Is versatile, flexible and reliable;
- Has an open mind and able to adapt to changes;
- Possesses and demonstrates mechanical skills.
Status: Full Time, Permanent
Work schedule: Afternoons, nights and weekends on rotation.*
