Cheesemaker – Full-Time – 2022-0004
YOUR CHALLENGES :
- Supervise the cheese manufacturing process
- Analyze and validate milk including ingredients and make proper adjustments as needed
- Help with the logistics for production employees
- Follow proper quality and HACCP procedures
- Complete all production and manufacturing reports
- Comply with overall cheese processing and company policies and procedures for St-Albert Cheese
- Transfer, pasteurizing, analyze and transfer the milk into the VAT
- Wash, sanitize and maintain equipment
- Actively participate in the implementation of product and process continuous Improvement initiatives
WHAT YOU HAVE:
- High School Grade 12 diploma
- Relevant training or education in cheese making, food manufacturing or food science, dairy product specialization would be an asset OR combination of relevant education and experience in cheese manufacturing
- Be able to lift weights that may exceed 20Kg and be able to handle chemicals
- Physically fit to perform repetitive motions (bending, standing ,lifting ,walking) during the shift work
- Demonstrate a superior sense and leadership in terms of compliance with the highest workplace health and safety and sanitary standards in place.
- Teamwork and ability to maintain a positive attitude
- Open mind and flexibility and change adaptability
- Planning and organization ability and rigor
- Bilingual (asset)
Status: Full Time
Work Schedule: Days, evenings, weekend rotation.*
*Schedule can change to accommodate operational needs.
