Bilingual Talent Acquisition Specialist (HR) – Full-Time – 2022-0055


Reporting to the Human Capital Director, the Talent Acquisition Specialist participates daily in supporting and facilitating all the basic human resources functions with a focus on Talent Acquisition & Recruitment activities. For instance, the person in this position actively participates in the recruitment process, managing employee files, processing and updating HR database. In addition, the responsibilities of the Talent Acquisition Specialist may change to accommodate operational requirements of the HR department.


  • Maintain recruitment contacts and the Recruitment Tracking System to generate a constant candidates flow.
  • Source and pre-screen applications and complete the pre-screening process according to St- Albert Cheese selection and recruitment procedures and processes.
  • Create recruiting material and process job postings using different recruiting platforms and marketing strategies using social media
  • Support different departments for their respective staffing requirements and new talent acquisition and participate in the creation of a pool of viable candidates for overall St-Albert Cheese departments.
  • Participate in the full cycle recruiting process including selection, interviews, administration of tests, background checks (criminal record and referral), etc.
  • Support the HRBP in building solid recruitment strategies for attracting qualified candidates and fulfill overall St-Albert Cheese Staffing requirements.
  • Update the job descriptions as needed
  • Demonstrate creativity and innovation in posting positions on various social media and job search platforms.
  • Participate in job fairs and various employability events.
  • Plan and welcome new employees according to the Fromagerie Onboarding and orientation procedure


  • Post-secondary degree in human resources or a combination of equivalent experience and education.
  • Hold a professional human resources designation (CHRP, CHRL, CHRP) is an asset.
  • Have a minimum 2 – 3 years HR support experience.
  • Experience in talent acquisition/ Full recruiting cycle is a definite asset.
  • Have a great experience and great ability to recruit via social media.
  • Have a creative and innovative mindset.
  • Be comfortable recruiting in a manufacturing/ fast paste environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Bilingual.

LOCATION: 150 St-Paul Street, St-Albert, ON, K0A 3C0

STATUS: Full-time (On-site), Permanent

WORK SCHEDULE: Days, Monday to Friday
